A Pledge to Serve, A Vision to Unite

My journey into public service began with a simple belief: that our community deserves leadership as dedicated, resilient, and forward-thinking as its people.

A Decade of Dedicated Advocacy

My work began on the streets of our city, shoulder to shoulder with families struggling to navigate complex housing systems. Over the past ten years, I have seen firsthand how pragmatic policy, rooted in local experience, can transform lives and bridge the divides within our community.

Forged by Community, Driven by Principle

Whether leading economic development initiatives or championing educational excellence, every step has been guided by a core dedication to the people we serve. We aren't just building for today; we are crafting a vision for a more equitable and prosperous district for every single resident.

The Vance Principles

A campaign built on unwavering foundations. These core values dictate every policy and community initiative we champion for the future of our district.

Integrity

Transparency

Innovation

Resiliency

When this campaign started, the billionaires and downtown business interests who like to control all of the seats of power in Chicago thought they could keep this seat for themselves. They launched an all-out effort to knock Katherine Dunneback off the ballot before the campaign had really started.

They failed.

They had money, but we had you.

Let’s be clear: We’re not taking money from billionaires who want power for themselves. We’re not taking money from those who want to turn our public schools into profit centers. And we’re not taking money from anti-union forces who work against the interests of the working class.

Because the Chicago School Board Subdistrict 9B doesn’t belong to them. It belongs to you.

This campaign is volunteer-led, and its success depends on you. By donating to our campaign, you’re ensuring that we will have the resources we need to win.
