Priorities
Katherine is working to build a stronger, more connected CPS system that puts students, families, and school communities first.
Â
-
Building stronger relationships with state and local legislators

-
Creating more opportunities for parent input through the Special Education Advisory Committee and Local School Councils

-
Creating sustainable community schools rather than consolidating or closing them

-
Reducing spending on technology, testing, and private contracts that are not evidence-based and data driven

Programs and services in every CPS school so every student can succeed.
